This FERROPHON consisted of flat and bolt irons , which were put together to sound like the same objects. The particular sound was created by striking the metal handle, which fell into the natural oscillation and thus arrived at astonishing acoustics.All the collectors were singing the "Hymn of iron collectors."The mood had been cheerful and boisterous and singing makes us hungry, a hot and cold buffet was served.As a souvenir of this wonderful meeting, we got this pretty iron.
